Verlag Otto Sagner, Munich - Berlin

Since its beginning in 1959 the Verlag Otto Sagner has published more than 1100 titles on Middle Eastern-, Southern- and East-European topics as well as on Slavic Studies.

Our publishing concept offers optimal conditions especially for scholarly works such as doctoral dissertations, post-doctoral theses, seminar and conference reports, textbooks, academic and non-fiction works. We are also prepared to assume the publishing responsibilities for a journal or book series of your department or institute.

From the start the Verlag Otto Sagner has taken part in the most important international bookfairs, congresses and exhibitions. In our effort to present our publications competently on the book market our own Kubon & Sagner GmbH takes care of the marketing and distribution of our books and journals. In this way we are able to reach every interested library worldwide. Review copies of our publications are sent automatically to the most important newspapers and periodicals.

By way of cooperation with the Bavarian State Library (BSB) we are digitalising over 700 titles from our backlist program. These will be set up in a long-term archive at the library and will be available digitally in Open Access as well as in on-demand print versions.
